This is mostly aimed at Chris Pratt, and other pedants, because they'll remember.
Am I going insane? Didn't "cancelled" always have two "l"s? Because the LJ spellchecker just told me it only has one, and that's not how I know it.
And didn't "traveling" used to have two "l"s? Spellcheckers yell at me for that one too. Only recently have I gotten accustomed to seeing it with one "l", although I'll never be comfortable with it, what with my weird, unhealthy fixation and all.
Yeah, it's a low-grade concern, which lets you know how awesome my life is right now, but what's going on with the double-l when adding a suffix rule? Was there a change, and no one told me? Me? The Duchess of Pedantry?
Unacceptable. U-N-A-C-C-E-P-T-A-B-L-E. Unacceptable.
